This policy explains how Al Fatah Quran Institute (“we”, “us”) handles your personal information when you visit our website, book a free trial, send us an enquiry or take classes with us.

What we collect

When you book a free trial, we collect:

• your name
• who the class is for (a child, a teen or yourself) and the student’s age
• the course you’re interested in, if you choose one
• your country and WhatsApp number
• the days you prefer for classes
• your time zone, which your browser shares automatically so we can schedule classes in your local time

When you send an enquiry, we collect your name, email address, country, your message, and your WhatsApp number if you choose to give it.

When you contact us on WhatsApp or by email, we receive your phone number or email address and the messages you send.

When you take classes, we keep simple records such as the student’s schedule, course and progress, so we can teach well and keep parents updated.

We do not collect payment card details through this website.

How we use it

• to arrange your free trial and agree class times with you
• to teach classes and share progress updates with parents
• to answer your questions
• to send payment details and reminders about your classes

We use your information only because you asked us to contact you or to teach you, and you agreed to this when you sent a form. We will never sell it or use it to send you unrelated marketing.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted services to run the institute:

• Cloudflare — hosts our website and stores form submissions securely. It may also record technical details such as your IP address to keep the site secure.
• Gmail — our email inbox, where form submissions and emails are received
• WhatsApp — to message you about classes
• Zoom and Microsoft Teams — to hold live classes

These services may store information on servers in other countries. They are well-known providers with their own security and privacy protections. We only share what is needed, and never share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Cookies & advertising

Our website does not currently use cookies to track you. Our fonts are stored on our own site, so visiting a page doesn’t send your details to font services.

We may later use advertising tools, such as the Meta Pixel, to see how well our adverts work. If we do, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before any such cookies are used.

Children’s information

Many of our students are children. If the student is under 16, a parent or guardian should fill in our forms and be our main contact. We only use a child’s details to teach them and to keep their parents informed.

How long we keep it

We keep a student’s information while they are learning with us. If lessons end, or an enquiry doesn’t lead to classes, we delete the information within 12 months — or sooner if you ask us to.

Keeping it safe

Your information is kept in password-protected accounts that only our staff can access, and is used only by the people who arrange and teach your classes.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• tell you what information we hold about you
• correct anything that is wrong
• delete your information
• stop contacting you

Just message us using the details below and we will reply as soon as we can, and within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you also have the right to complain to the data protection authority where you live.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
